I’ve finally finished reading the seventh book of Harry Potter..  And I must say, the ending was amazing..  There were some surprises that even I didn’t think of, remembering all the events on the previous books..  And I bet that if they release the movie version of this one, it will be another blockbuster..  I can’t wait to see how they will do all the special effects for the scenes here but of course, we have to wait for the 6th book version first..

I won’t tell what happened in the book for the sake of those who haven’t finished reading it yet, but I assure you.. It’s awesome!

Oh yeah, don’t worry..  Harry, Ron & Hermione are still alive..  Teehee!

I have to let this out ’cause I’m so pissed right now..  I don’t know if it was a strategy to protect their business or a strategy to make more money..  Either way, I’m pissed..

It’s our cable tv subscription..  About a month ago, we keep on having signal problems with the tv..  And then, we found out that they’re gonna be changing the way that the signal will come in..  They installed a digibox, which in my opinion, is nothing but a transformer..  The catch is, it could only be installed in one tv..  Now here’s the thing, we have several tv sets in the house, and we were able to share the cable tv signal before to all the tv sets..  That way, we won’t be arguing with each other on which show to watch..  Now I guess that’s gonna be the case now..  Since that f***ing digibox is only installed in the sala, it means I won’t be able to watch any of my favorite cable shows in my room..  What the hell is the point of having tv sets in each of our rooms if we can’t have any cable tv??? Well, they have an answer for that, you’d have to purchase another digibox for the other tv..  And there’s an additional monthly fee as well for the added service..  Duh?!?! That’s unacceptable…  Argghhh!!!

It leaves us no choice but to switch..  I don’t care if it would mean less channels.. As long as I have HBO, ETC & MTV, I’m good..

…"Transformers" — the greatest movie so far that I’ve ever seen this year…

Dang! I would have regretted it if I didn’t join the guys earlier..  First of all, the ticket’s free..  And then the snack’s free..  And I haven’t seen a movie in a while…  And this film is sooo worth it!!

I’ve watched the cartoon series when I was younger but I didn’t expect it to be released in film..  And I was so amazed when I was watching it earlier because I was so blown away with the special effects especially with how the robots transform and all the fight scenes between the auto bots and the decepticons..  Whew!  I can’t take my eyes off the big screen, it was so overwhelming..

If you guys haven’t watched it yet, you’re missing one hell of a movie..

"Harry Potter 5" is showing in cinemas next week, let’s see if it can surpass my amazement with "Transformers".. Ü

‘Twas so much fun last night..  Me and my college girlfriends went on a girls’ night out at Metrowalk..  It’s been months since we last saw each other and we had a blast sharing stories and reminiscing our college days in UST..  There’s me, Jerosa, Kaye, Cathy, Jaja, Ann, Jen & Che..  Four were missing though..  Merj is in Singapore, Ich is in the States, Lette had to go home to Tarlac and Trisha was nowhere to be found…

So anyway, we had dinner at South Sea Grill and it’s funny because as soon as the food were served, twenty minutes later they were all gone..  We were so hungry we chowed down the food without speaking to each other..  Hahaha..
.
After eating, we decided to go to a videoke bar..  Unfortunately, the one we tried to go to in Emerald Ave was so expensive, it’s not even worth it..  I mean, it’s nowhere near Red Box or even Music 21 and they are charging so much..  "Duh, I dont think so!"..
.
So we looked for another place and found this small cafe/bar and settled in..  We had buckets of beer and plates of nachos and buffalo wings while we continued our stories..  We actually concentrated on each of our love lives and shared our thoughts and opinions on each other’s situation..  Well, not much for me ‘coz I didn’t have anything to share since my lovelife is not as colorful and complicated as theirs..  Hehe..  But it was nice that we got to share those stories and learned about each other more considering that we don’t get to see that often..  So nice..

So after we rounded off the table,  we decided to have coffee and sweets this time..  We went back to Starbucks Metrowalk and that’s where we started our college stories..  We tried to remember all of our professor’s names, our former classmates that stayed for just one year and just everything that we can reminisce of our USTe days..  It’s surprising how we can still think of those things and realized that somehow we haven’t changed at all…  We ended the night or should I say morning (it was almost 3:30AM when we called it a night) with smiles in our faces and our hearts..

These are the moments that is to be treasured and cherished forever..  We might not see each other that often but the friendship lives on in each of our hearts..  Love yah gurls!

Just about one month of being hired at Dell, I’m starting to enjoy the freebies and the perks that we’re getting..  Imagine, I was able to join the first ever RS Org Team Building in Tagaytay in just my two week stay..  And then last week, we learned about the discounts and promos that we can get in different establishments just by being a Dell Employee..  Huge discounts to gym memberships, cellphone plans, airline tickets, hotel room rates, restaurants and a lot more..

And get this, we have an "EXCLUSIVE" screening of the movie "Transformers" next week in Eastwood Cinema..
.

The fun’s just beginning..  I know there’s gonna be more…..
.   

Three weeks of training, one week of shadowing..  I’ve survived my first month in Dell..  I guess it will still take a lot of getting used to..  New place, new faces, new challenges..  But I know I’m quite ready to take on the tasks..  From what I’ve seen with Kat, I’d need to have an answer for every question that my agents have, I’m about to get loaded with tons of reports and I’d have to schedule coaching sessions with my agents..  Now, that’s real work..

Had another inuman session with the Dawgs last night..  ‘Twas Vince’s bday and I’m OFF from work so of course, I ain’t missin’ the party..  Hehe..

Had to meet up with Sam in Galleria since I don’t know how to go to Vince’s house by myself..  I even saw Kean of Callalily and I was so stoked to see him, I followed him for a while..  Stalker?!? Hahaha..  So anyway, we took a cab and we kinda got lost ‘coz we didn’t really know the way and the cab driver was no help but eventually we did get to the place..  Again, we had food and booze and tons of laughter..  There was also some pouring of emotions and intense conversation regarding work, mostly coming from them, but I do understand what they’re feeling ‘coz I’ve been there..  I’m just hoping that everything would go well for them as it did for me..  I am very much happy with Dell and I’m sure their luck will come too..

I love my Dawgs..  They’re one bunch of friends that I will never ever forget and even though I’m not in CVG anymore, there will always be those inuman sessions and gimiks that I’m sure I’ll be going to..

We had our RS Organization Team Building activity yesterday at Taal Vista Hotel in Tagaytay..  At first, I was really hesitant to go because I don’t know anyone in the group yet except for my co-trainee..  We were a little out of place soon as we got on the bus because it feels like everyone knows everybody already..  Anyway, a few people started to talk to us so we kinda got comfortable during the bus ride..  The managers also started a "Bring Me" game so we wouldn’t get bored..  ‘Twas fun..

When we got into the hotel, we started the activities..  A few words from our Site DIrector and the Managers, slideshows of the YTD performance of the whole RS team and a couple of fun games..  We also had a buffet lunch with some entertainment on the side and of course, TONS of picture taking..  I maybe able to post some of them soon as I get a copy..

The culminating activity was at Elbow Room in Metrowalk..  We had a laugh because we’re at this "Victory Liner" bus and the driver actually parked in front of the Metrowalk Central Plaza and all the people was staring and probably wondering what the heck..  Hahaha!

.

Anyway, so we had this VIP room with a pool table and videoke and of course, a buffet table of "pica pica" for us to enjoy along with the drinks..  The atmosphere was so fun and it’s so good to see how close the bond is for the whole org..  And I’m glad that I am a part of that group..

I still have about 3 weeks of training more but I can’t wait to be on the floor and work with those guys..  From all the information that I saw during the conference in Taal, I know that my work is gonna be different and a bit challenging..  But I am certain that the whole RS team will be there to support me..

I’m glad I did join this trip..  Sosyal talaga ang Dell!!

Finally..  I got to meet up with friends…

.

.

My folks from CVG decided to have a little get together yesterday after their shift..  We went to Ting’s place and enjoyed some food & booze..  I was really happy to see them all again after almost a month since I resigned in CVG..  And I really missed those guys..  The laughs and the conversations..  Dang, it felt really good to be with them again..  I had to pass from the tagay later on ‘coz I felt that I was already tipsy..  Vinz made this Kahlua/Baileys type of drink and then we had beer afterwards..

‘Twas really a night of fun & laughter and this is one of those gimiks that I’ll never forget..  I’ll miss those guys again and hopefully we can have another inuman session soon..

So I’m in my 2nd day of training at Dell and I’ll say that it’s gonna be 19 days of information overload..  Good thing that I am quite familiar with most of the info being thrown at us but I’ll need to catch up on A LOT of things to get to the level that I’m supposed to be at..  It’s been 3 years since I last handled a Dell call and used all the Dell tools so I would need to refresh my memory quite a bit..  Aside from that, I’d still need to meet my team and find out what exactly my tasks are..
