This was the text message that my former Team Lead in Convergys sent to us when we had our team building a year ago.. This time, I forwarded it to my team here in Dell.. We had our final team building event before most of them will be moved to other teams.. I was really sad when I learned that we only had 2 weeks left in the team.. At the same time, I was happy that most of my techs were selected to move to the new LOB.. It was a great career opportunity for them and I know that they will do well.. Still, I was so emotional with the idea that they’re going.. Me and my partner TSM should’ve said yes when we were offered to move as well, that way we could’ve kept the team in tact..

It just saddens me a lot because I’ve been with these guys for 6 months now and I’m so attached to them.. Every day is such a fun day in the office and I always look forward to spending time with them.. They were my family in Dell and I love the great bond that I have.. And just thinking that we only have a few days left in the team together just tears my heart..

And so, my partner TSM and I decided to plan this team building party.. We went to Loreland Resort in Antipolo for an overnight stay of fun & laughter.. It was overflowing with booze and food and tons and tons of laughter..

I’m so thankful that my boss assigned me to this team.. I love these guys so much and Team Cancio will always be the Best Team Ever.. We may not have bagged the top stack rank yet but what we have is more than just numbers and plaques.. It’s a lifetime bond and friendship that will always be tattoed in our hearts…
